Elke has been a sweetheart since day one. She does not act like your typical 12 year old dog, she loves to play and has good energy. She knows sit, paw and lay down commands very well. Elke loves affection as long as you are not very close.  She can get a little rough.  Elke loves her bones and treats. She is a pretty independent dog but is still somewhat affectionate. She has a very thick coat and will require daily brushings to keep it from becoming matted. She is very sweet so she would be a great match for someone without other pets or children.
