Hello, my name is Dona. My foster mom says I’m a sweet, pretty girl. I’m 3 1/2 years old and I love belly rubs. I can't see very well. My foster mom says I have pannus - whatever that is. She puts this stuff in my eyes twice a day and I take it like a champ. She says I’m a good girl. When I’m in a new environment or meet new people, I get a little scared until I get used to the noises and people. Once I’m comfortable, I like to be petted, especially belly rubs.

Dona is a special needs girl. She will require daily eye drops for her pannus for her lifetime. I am learning more about her every day as her personality continues to blossom. 05/22/2017 - Dona is coming out of her shell. She is more confident and loves to play with toys, chew on elk antlers and check the trees and back yard for critters. This is due to her eyes responding well to the medicine. They are less hazy, not red or oozing therefore she can see better. Dona loves attention and will give you lots of kisses. She will crawl right up on your lap. She likes to go places whether by car or walking. She tries her best to get her foster fur brother to play with her but he's more interested in playing fetch. If you are looking for a sweet, beautiful, smart, loves to go places best friend, then Dona is your gal. She will be all that and more. She also knows basic commands most importantly - come.
