Hi, I'm  Gandolf  and I'm AMAZING.  My foster mom says I'm awesome and that I'll find a perfect home quickly.  I'm only about 8 months old and am a purebred black and tan GSD.  I'm tall and have a long nose and big ears.  I'm not finished growing yet and am probably about 70 lbs now.  There are  big dogs in my foster home and they all tried to boss me around as soon as I got here.  But I charmed them all very quickly.

All I want to do is play with them.  So I just puppy bow or groom them even when they snarl at me.  

I know basic commands and have a wonderful temperment.  But I have the attention span of a puppy so I don't always pay attention.

I love to chew on things, particularly dogs toys and sometimes material.  When I went in to get fixed, I threw up a piece of material.  Oops.  I think that was part of a dog bed that I swallowed.  My foster mom is going to have to keep a closer eye on me.

I'm neutered and fully vetted.

I do have minor hip dysplasia.  You would not know it to look at me now. I get around fine and love to play.  It is not a problem now and there is nothing to do about it at this point because I'm still growing.  But in a few years or when I'm an old man it could be a problem and I may need to have hip surgery.  I'm not looking forward to that and I heard that it could be expensive.

Given this information, I'm probably not going to be a runner or a gymnast or make it to the Olympics this summer unfortunately!  Also, it is probably best if I go to a home that does not have a lot of steps.
