11/10/23.   Esther is a sweet, affectionate dog who is simply a pleasure to have as a roommate.  She is house-trained and walks well on a leash.  It took her just a few days to settle into the routine at her foster home where she lives with her foster sister Pawlina 6087.  In fact, Esther is the dominant one and Pawlina is submissive to her.  Esther is house-trained, food-motivated, and she likes to cuddle; she really wants to go to a permanent home where she can snuggle with her human(s) on the bed at night (she told me to include that part).

Esther has some skin issues and hair loss that we are working on.  She recently had a vet appointment and she came home with a spa basket full of shampoo, mousse and ear drops.

Esther can be nervous when going into unfamiliar buildings for the first time (like a vet’s office) – she might “pancake” and need to be coaxed or even picked up.  But she is not aggressive and she is fine after a few minutes.

Esther is spayed and up-to-date on shots.  She plans to attend adoption events in Northern Virginia.  Approved adopters may contact her foster parent at tnhuck@yahoo.com.
