Meet Sadie, a stunning looking girl with a personality to match! She has been with us for just over a week, and is nearing the end of her recovery period from her spay surgery, so I’ll be able to update her profile regarding activity level shortly. She has gotten along well with our resident dogs and other fosters, is curious about the kitties, sleeps overnight in her crate without protest, and appears to have had basic training, although like most young pups will pull hard on the leash during walks, so basic obedience training is needed to enable her to become the best she can be. She is a very affectionate and playful but given her size and enthusiasm during play may knock over young children.
Sadie did very well at a very crowded SPCA/ VGSR event yesterday in Fredericksburg nicely greeting people and getting lots of attention, she gets to go to the Caledon Art and Wine festival today, so becoming a regular party girl.
She is being fostered in King George, approved adopters can contact me at rodschlemm@gmail.com for more information and or questions about her.
