Nitro is a shy, sweet boy, with a few medical hurdles to overcome. When he came into the rescue he was coughing, sneezing, very thin and had itchy, flaky skin. With just over a week in his new foster home, he has gained 7 lbs and has been a champ at taking his multiple meds for kennel cough, UTI and bilateral ear infections. His infections are responding rapidly to basic meds and good food and care. Nitro was picked up as a stray in NC, so little is known about his past. However, he does play very well with his foster siblings, a male GSD and a female GSD/Collie mix.
Nitro is not yet available for adoption due to his medical issues. Please keep an eye out here for his coming availability. Nitro is a sweetheart who will be snapped up in no time. RBAVA
