Hi!  My name’s Worf.  Yes, like in Star Trek.  My mom says my head is about as hard.  I’m a Belgian Malinois.  I’m only 10 weeks old and I’m trying not to do my business in the house.  Mom says I’m doing really well.  I do not like being in my crate- it’s boring!  I cry but since everyone ignores me when I do I’m thinking about giving it up.  Mom says I have to be in there sometimes because I won’t stop to rest unless she does.  I love to be moving and sniffing and chewing and barking and…oh!  My favorite thing?  Playing with the other Malinois in the house.  We play tug, and we play fight, and we run, and run, and- oh!  There’s a ball!  I haven’t chewed on that one today!  So much to do!  Hi, other Malinois in the house here.  Don’t tell Worf, but sometimes he has to go in his crate because he drives me nuts.  He never stops playing.  I think he needs a job.  You know- a real job, like search and rescue or agility or dock dogs or herding.  He’s never going to be happy with just a walk around the block.  But he’s smart and he loves to please.  Mom’s already got him to figure out if he wants to get out of his crate he has to stop jumping and whining and sit down, be quiet and the door opens.  He figured that out in a day.  And he sits to go out and to come in.  He barks at the neighbors but once they come up and he sniffs them he rolls over for belly rubs.  He loves to be with his people.  He will be a terrific dog for an active family or person who has the time to exercise and train him!
