9/30/15 update: Ginger 4228 is a sweet low/medium energy sable GSD. Since she has been in our home, I have only heard her bark twice. She is a very easy going dog and does not mind if you watch TV all day or take her for a 5 mile hike. Ginger is a great companion dog and is also independent. She is left alone while we are at work and has not chewed anything or had any accidents inside our home. She CANNOT be placed into a cage or crate. We caged her the first night we had her and she managed to destroy a part of the metal cage and escape. We found her the next morning sleeping on the couch like nothing happened. Ginger will make a great addition to any family that is NOT looking for a guard dog but rather is looking for a loving family member! She was rushed to an emergency vet. Care was provided and her seizures have been controlled with medication. It is unknown if she is has Epilepsy or if the seizures were a result of some sort of infection. Blood work is pending for Rocky Mountain spotted fever.
