4/25/17   Hey there! My name is Nyla. My foster mom says that I am a very sweet, energetic girl and that I run like the wind. I love to play with my foster GSD brother Sebastian. Unfortunately he is 11 yrs. old and can’t play as hard as I would like to. I have to admit that I can be a Ms. Bossy Pants when Sebastian doesn’t want to play chase with me. I would really like someone with four legs to play with.

I do like to play fetch. Well, it’s more like I’ll run get the softball and bring it back to you…eventually. I surprised my foster mom the other day. She didn’t realize I’d buried the softball until she saw me dig it up. Busted. I also I “accidentally” fell into one of the koi ponds (the one without the fish) and loved it! It was so much fun! I try and get into the pond every chance I get. When I do, my foster mom says I’m a mess. On the other hand, I will say that I’m very obedient when my foster mom says I can’t get into the pond with the fish. Bummer.

Nyla does claim her owner and initially didn’t want me to share my affections with Sebastian. We have worked on that and are doing really well with the sharing. Nyla is a big snuggler, loves attention and gives very soft kisses. We are almost joined at the hip and she does try to help, as does Sebastian. Between the two it took me 3 days to assemble the lawn mower. Guess they’re not exactly Henry and Henrietta Hechinger. Despite her being a Ms. Bossy Pants at times, she is submissive and will give Sebastian face kisses when he lets her know he has had enough. Sebastian really does like her and will give her little love nips which she likes.

I think Nyla would make a great addition to someone’s family, but she will need some work on her manners when she plays so things don’t escalate.  Approved adopters please contact Sonja at nottsonja@gmail.com
