Hi, My name is Maya. I am a beautiful 5 year old Long Hair GSD. I was turned in to the Humane Society, because my Mom could no longer afford me. I've been with my Mom, since I was 8 weeks old. My Mom tried her best, but we were bouncing around from Motel to Motel. I'm now with my Foster Dad, in Yorktown. My dad says that I am very smart, and beautiful. I am a little nervous when I initially meet people but warm up to them very quickly. I am House Trained, and know basic obedience commands. I love to play fetch, and cuddle.

I love my new 4 legged Step Sisters, and my new 2 legged one too. I met Velcro the cat, and I wanted to play with her, I just don't think that she wanted to play with me. My Dad thinks that I would get along with a cat once the cat got use to me. My Dad would love to see me go to a home with a fenced in yard, and a playmate. I love laying outside on the deck.
