Dixie was very scared and shy when she came to me. Dixie is a very shy quiet girl with a loving personality who just wants to snuggle. She will talk and sas you after she gets to know you. she likes walks and get really curious. She is not a fan of toys but will chew a bone all day long. she is house trained and can be left alone loose in the house as long as it is dog proofed.  She is a picky eatter. If she wants attention, her head will be in your lap, if you are walking or sitting. she will wait pateintly by the door when she wants to go out.  Dixie loves to go for truck rides.  She is not bad on a lease but is easily distracted. she came to me with no training and catches on well.  We are working on this and she is getting better. She is curious about the cats but with supervison she has had no issues with both of my cats. She is beautiful and stuborn at times but she can melt your heart with one look. She enjoys being petted and brushed. she is full of energy and loves to play with her foster dad and new foster brother also. she has mastered sit and down and is working on stay and roll over. she is protective and will let me know when someone is at the door. she is protective of her owner and she takes time to warm up to you. she kennels great and loves being in it but does not need it. she needs a new family who knows the breed and can have patience with her.
